marley and me

this is a book about marley, a dog adopted by the author's family...it recounted how marley grew up right from the day the author decided to adopt the dog, to the day marley was put to sleep...it's heartwarming and unforgettable story of a family in the making and the wondrously neurotic dog who taught them what really matters in life.

Marley quickly grew into a barreling, streamroller of a Labrador Retriever, a dog like no other, and causes lots of problems in the household, and trouble the neighbour as well...marley even failed the basic obedience course,as it was too wild to be tame...

And yet, his heart was pure. Just as Marley joyfully refused any limits on his behavior, his love and loyalty were boundless, too. marley shared the family's joy and sadness,he was brave in times of danger and stood up to protect the family...Through it all, he remained steadfast, a model of devotion, even when his family was at wit's end. Unconditional love, they would learn, comes in many forms.
a touching book indeed...

movies pokemon

how long was it since i first touched pokemon related stuffs? haha, should be around 10 years ago...when pokemon first made its appearance worldwide, and every active kids that time could be holding a nintendo gameboy playing pokemon games, trading card games and figurines etc...

now back to pokemon, it has evolved quite a lot since its first appearance, more powerful and unique pokemons are appearing in the newer versions...and the movies are attracting me as per normal...

The 10th Pokémon movie introduces Dialga and Palkia, two Legendary Pokémon from the "Diamond" and "Pearl" versions of the game. Ash, Brock, Dawn, and Pikachu visit the town of Alamos, which is dominated by two lofty towers that represent space and time. Alamos has been plagued by nightmares and supernatural which is cause by Darkrai, a powerful and elusive Pokémon. Alice, a gentle musician whose grandmother discovered Darkrai, disagrees. Her professor friend Tonio proves the escalating problems are caused by a clash between Dialga and Palkia. Unless the humans find a way to end this battle, the space-time fabric will tear and Alamos will be thrown into another dimension. Ash and Pikachu save the day, with some help from Dawn and Alice.

It all started with a legend passed down from the people of Water...

Somewhere in this world, there is a Sea Temple created by the people of the Water. The Sea Temple contains a hidden treasure called the Sea Crown, but no one has ever seen the Sea Crown, or even the Sea Temple, because the temple is protected by a secret mechanism. The temple drifts through a vast ocean undetected, waiting... waiting...

Ash and Pikachu meet Lizabeth, a descendant of the people of the Water, and learn about the legend. They also meet Jackie, a Pokemon Ranger on a secret mission to protect a Manaphy egg (Manaphy is mysteriously known as The Prince of the Sea) and find the Sea Temple as well. While on this important mission, Jackie is attacked by a pirate known as The Phantom. The Phantom plans to obtain the Sea Crown and take over the world - but first he needs the Manaphy egg. Now Lizabeth and Ash must help Jackie protect the egg and stop the nefarious pirate!
