a book which recounts the hardship faced by a boy living in india, sexual abuse, racism, poverty, homeless and more. Ram Mohammad Thomas is the boy, who was accused of defrauding the popular TV game show "Who Wants to Be A Billionaire?", and tortured in the corrupted jail, until a mysterious lawyer intervenes and takes him away. from there on, he tells the lawyer the details of the game show, on how he managed to win the game show eventually, which of course is through intelligence and wit, not by cheating. the author is able to tell various encounters by Ram through the use of individual questions in the show, one will have to willing to go along with the premise that this entire structure is based on coincidence of colossal proportions . what i really admire most is that despite this bleak subjects of the harsh environment the boy grew up in, the intrepid Ram keeps doggedly moving forward and surviving. as long as one continue to believe what you believe in, and dare to stand up for it, the truth will eventually prevails. those who keep their eyes and ears open in life can learn a lot about it without any books, as in the case of this boy, who constantly observe his surroundings, gaining information which eventually aids in his success in the quiz show. An excellent story, well-told, an utterly enjoyable picaresque adventure.
