read these three books recently...storm the black sphere is the third book in the series, which is made up of three young and intelligent children, as a spy group to investigate the death of five scientists...they were working on a project fireball, which may have a great impact on the world if success, in this case, a project on nuclear fusion in room condition to create vast amount of expendable energy...but now the project is at stakes...the group head to the Swiss Alps to join the high-stakes manhunt on their most dangerous mission yet...


i saw this book displayed at the central library, and it caught my attention at once, partly because of the title and the also the cover design...it's about this group of children who hold the secret behind the explosion of a military research base oat pinewood area...this is the story of their last days, the last 12 hours of the children...these children are all geniuses, they all have specialties, they have all been recruited by the military. Until this fateful day, none of them have ever been down to level ten - the bunker which has the highest security. But something has gone terribly wrong.the story contains fantastic plot twists...which totally is unexpected until i read till the last pages...




i have read all of roald dahl books since young, and i spotted this book, borrowed it as i had the urge to re read all his nice stories...there are seven shorts stories altogether...the main one,as shown as the title, is about a man who desire to master the ability to see without his eyes after reading about a similar experiences...he pursue the skill, mastering yoga, and finally manage to learn the special ability...with that, he went to casino, applying his skill, and won lots of cash...now, will he continue to obtain cash with this method, or does he has some other thoughts in mind, on how to use this skill?
the accompanying six short stories pack a significant punch. From a true story of a man unearthing a fortune to an unforgettable tale of a hitchhiker with sticky fingers, i am delighted to have read this book. A landmark in my childhood of reading...
